Poultry feeding training
The training devoted to problems involved in poultry feeding took place on 1-2 October in the "Foluszowy Potok" hotel in Zakopane. The training was organized by LNB Poland and "Silomix" Animal Feed Mixing Plant and was attended by representatives of a number of companies, including "Silomix", animal feed mixing plant in Botnica Strzelecka, "Agrocentrum" Strzelce Opolskie, "Oliwia" Książ Wielki, "Irena" Libertów, "Agsol" Pacanów and Pol-Morawia.
Lecturers included prof. Krzysztof Lipiński from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and prof. Alina Wieliczko from the Agricultural University in Wrocaw. Lectures were devoted to the prevention, diagnostics and treatment of poultry diseases. The main focus was on proper nutrition, hygiene and optimal balancing of feed rations.
The Saturday training session ended with a traditional "highland style" dinner in the "Zbójnicka Chata" restaurant.
